The Touristy Itinerary is an travel document which contains day to day information about the Tour along with major destinations,halting points and routing. Basically It has a  outline of the tour .Following are the types of itinerary which a tourism company need to prepare:-

Every one of us knows that the travel companies always prepares an itinerary for the tourist but it not just prepare itinerary for tourist, it prepare multiple itinerary for multiple purposes there are many types of itinerary which an travel company need to prepare at a time for example for tourist, for tour manager, for tour escort and for the bus drivers.




















The tourist itinerary



The main itinerary for any tourism organization is the tourist itinerary which prepared for the client. 
The tourist itinerary is the starting point in development process of an itinerary so various aspect should be considered while preparing the tourist itinerary such as destination in detail, tour budget, accommodation, transportation, legal requirements, as 
well as the time table from the starting of the tour to the end. In other words tourist itinerary usually a short itinerary that include all the necessary information about the tour such as accessibility, accommodation, cost, activities and attractions which handed over to the tourist before beginning  of the tour.








The Tour Manager Itinerary




The most important asset of any travel company id tour manager who function from tour planning to actual operations of the tour, the performance of the tour manger can effect the company in negative or positive way, he brings to the company the most effective and extensive management style which is the result of his own personality, skills and knowledge. The itinerary for the tour managers are prepared in most comprehensive way because he is the only person who handle all the operation from top to bottom. The length may differ from company to company and country to country.

The vendor’s Itinerary




Travel vendors such hospitality industries. Sometimes these vendors also requires a copy of itinerary to offer the services to the tourist according to the client itinerary.  To offer services such as entertainment, transportation, clubs  facilities etc travel vendor become more specific if they hold an itinerary. Basically it tells the travel vendors that what to offer and when to offer the particular facility or services.

The Tour Bus Driver Itinerary




The name itself tells the meaning that is is prepared for the bus driver who are responsible for the tour. The main purpose to prepare this itinerary is to make them understand various information of the tour containing in the itinerary which will help him to perform his job better. The bus driver itinerary mainly include pick up and drop point, restricted area for driving, legal formalities while driving, parking areas, sightseeing point route-map as well a the timings to reach to certain destination etc.

The Tour Escort Itinerary



This itinerary prepare for the tour escort to guide the tourist about different tourist destinations.Tour escorts are those who guide the traveler about the destination, they describe all information about a particular destination. Tour escorts are recognized as an  important individual in travel company, he is not only a guide but an individual who can make or brake the tour with his knowledge, skills and personality. So it has become necessary for the travel companies to appoint a tour escort who must have vast knowledge about the tourist destinations.
